Intermatic T104M201 24-Hour Mechanical Timer with Heat Protection DPST
The Time Switch Mechanism offers a 24-hour type with a maximum of 12 operations, a minimum off-time of 1 hour, and a minimum on-time of 1 hour. It is approved for use in Canada and the United States (CSA approval) and is suitable for pool/spa pump applications with a gas-fired heater. The voltage rating is 208 to 277 VAC at 60 Hz.
This mechanism is designed to provide coordinated control for heater and filter pump operations. It turns off the gas-fired swimming pool heater approximately 20 minutes before the filter pump shuts down, eliminating the problem of pounding and knocking due to overheated water, reducing scale and lime deposits, and extending the service life of the heater.
The 24-hour dial allows for up to 12 ON/OFF operations each day, and one set of ON and OFF trippers is supplied with each switch. The minimum ON/OFF time is one hour, and the mechanism can be installed in almost all Intermatic enclosures.
