The timer has a minimum off time of 1 hour and a minimum on time of 1 hour, ensuring efficient operation. It is approved by both UL (Canada and US) and CSA (Canada and US), providing a reliable and safe solution.

To maximize the savings, the timer should be used to operate the water heater for one hour in the morning and two hours in the evening, set to turn "ON" one hour in advance of the usage periods.
